STEAM Connect Pop-UPs

STEAM Connect builds on our STEAM Pathways Coalition goals to connect current and future STEAM Pros via monthly “Pop-up” engagements. Pop-ups are free after-school “field trips” to local area workplaces. 

Our goal is to bring together next generation learners (children/students thru college) and current professionals, through on-site tours and explorations of various STEAM careers.

Learners will receive exposure to industry and career opportunities in a “take your kid to work” style. “Next-gen Pros” (aka students, learners) as well as “Big kids” (adults, retired/employed) and are all welcome, to build relationships and our futures together.

Pop-ups are planned to be monthly 1.5 hour visits from 4-5:30 on 3rd Wednesday’s of each month during the school year. We’ll get behind-the-scenes view of these careers and have an opportunity to ask questions of current employees.
